GET TO KNOW ME
Being a Doula is a true calling for me.
Over the past 30 years, I have worked with many families as an early childhood educator and nanny. After my twins were born 17 years ago, I became an in-home child care provider. For the past six years, I have worked as a Birth and Postpartum Doula, and for the past two years, I have also been a childbirth educator. It has been a true gift to witness the many ways the birth and postpartum journey can unfold.
As a Birth and Postpartum Doula, Newborn Care Specialist, and Childbirth Educator, my goal is to bring calm energy, show respect, listen attentively, advocate for you, and provide physical and emotional support to you and your support person during labor and the postpartum period. I value meeting families where they are most comfortable and adapting to the energy and space you wish to create during this sacred and gentle time.
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my children, family, and friends; exploring the many trails around Central Oregon; attending concerts; laughing with friends; taking hip-hop dance classes; and traveling whenever I am not on call.
