The word Doula is a Greek word that means woman caregiver.
We now use the word to describe a trained and experienced labor companion who provides the birthing person and partner continuous (non medical) emotional support, physical comfort and assistance in obtaining information before, during and just after childbirth.

I will recognize birth as a key life experience that you will remember all your life.
I understand the physiology of birth and the emotional needs of a person in labor. In addition, I am training with Spinning Babies techniques.
I will assist you and your partner in preparing for and supporting your plans for your birth and postpartum journey.
I will stay by your side and guide you physically and emotionally.
I will provide comfort measures, an objective viewpoint, and assistance to you in getting the information you need to make good decisions.

Birth Doula Package
Complimentary consultation.
Two prenatal visits to focus on birth preferences, coping techniques, body work, emotional wellness and partner/support expectations.
Phone/email/text support from date of hire.
On-call availability from 38 weeks until your baby arrives.
Continuous physical, emotional and non-bias informational support during your birthing time for you and your partner.
Two postpartum visit within the first 14 days of arriving home to offer support, education, and love for your new family.
