The word Doula is a Greek word that means woman caregiver.
We now use the word to describe a trained and experienced labor companion who provides the birthing person and partner continuous (non medical) emotional support, physical comfort and assistance in obtaining information before, during and just after childbirth.

As your Birth Doula
I will recognize birth as a key life experience that you will remember all your life.
I understand the physiology of birth and the emotional needs of a person in labor. In addition, I am training with Spinning Babies techniques.
I will assist you and your partner in preparing for and supporting your plans for your birth and postpartum journey.
I will stay by your side and guide you physically and emotionally.
I will provide comfort measures, an objective viewpoint, and assistance to you in getting the information you need to make good decisions.

Birth Doula Packages
Complimentary consultation.
Two prenatal visits to focus on birth preferences, coping techniques, body work, emotional wellness, partner/support expectations and postpartum.
Phone/email/text support from date of hire.
On-call availability from 37 weeks until your baby arrives.
Continuous physical, emotional and non-bias informational support during your birthing time for you and your partner.
Labor/Birth Package
All of the above including:
Two (2 hour) postpartum visits within the first 30 days of arriving home to offer support, education, baby care and love for your new family
Package: $2,400
Accepting PacificSource/OHP clients.
Birth/Postpartum Package
All of the above, including:
15 hours of postpartum support within the first 60 days of arriving home to offer support, education, baby care and love for your new family
Package: $3,000
Accepting PacificSource/OHP clients.
Day of Labor/Birth services
For those having your 2nd + baby who feel like you don’t need the birth prep/education or postpartum support
Phone consultation
Available for phone calls/text messages for labor/birth related questions
Meet and greet at or around 36 weeks of pregnancy to go over your desired birth preferences
